Revit Electrical Modeler
Job Description:
BIM Modeling & Design
-
Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Revit.

Model power distribution, lighting, low current, fire alarm, and ELV systems.

Interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications.

Create and manage electrical BIM families and components.
-
Ensure model accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards.
Coordination & Collaboration
-
Coordinate electrical models with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams.
-
Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
-
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts.
-
Support engineers and project teams during design and construction stages.
Documentation & Deliverables
-
Generate electrical shop drawings, layout drawings, and as-built documentation.

Extract BOQs, schedules, and quantities from BIM models.
-
Update and revise models based on design changes and site requirements.
-
Maintain required Level of Detail (LOD) throughout project phases.
Compliance & Standards

Ensure compliance with UAE and international electrical standards and codes.

Follow company BIM workflows, naming conventions, and quality procedures.

Support digital construction and BIM best practices across projects.
Qualifications
-
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Autodesk or BIM certification is preferred.
Experience
-
Minimum 4+ years of experience in BIM electrical modeling.

Experience on GCC projects is highly preferred.
-
Exposure to commercial, residential, infrastructure, or high-rise projects.
-
Previous experience with design consultants or MEP contractors is an advantage.
